Has worked in the hotel business since 1995, on the sales and marketing side throughout, never moving to another function. When he started, the major online booking platforms did not exist. Rooms were sold through agents, wholesale contracts, telephone and fax.
That meant seeing online distribution arrive from day one — watching it grow, watching it reshape how the entire industry prices rooms, and watching which hotels adapted and which did not. Understanding built from living through that shift is different from learning tools that were already there.
Founded CUBIC management in 2015 to take this work on for independent hotels without an in-house revenue management team, through both the boom years and COVID, and still manages the firm's earliest clients today.
